Gout the Millenary Malady

Since the Neanderthal put his feet on this planet GOUT has been known for its insidious, painful, deforming and devastating crippling effects. Nowadays, terms such as podagra, tophi, and blood uric acid serum levels are common jargon among sufferers; medications like NSAID, Colchicine, Indomethacin,, Allopurinol, Probenecid, Sulfinpyrazone, Oxipurinol, Fexubostat, Puricase and Anakinra are part of the arsenal to fight gout. Gout known as the 'rich man disease' is caused by either a poor elimination of uric acid by the kidneys or an elevated blood uric acid serum (equal or greater than 6mg/DL) due to the absence of uricase -an enzyme which degrades uric acid and is absent in humans and apes. Sufferers should know that body mass index, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, heart diseases, cortical cataracts, high blood pressure, kidney diseases, hypothyroidism and stroke has been found to be directly or indirectly associated with Gout. It is not know if gout causes those conditions or those conditions predispose to gout. Once again gout sufferers should be aware that they can help by watching their diet and avoiding organ meats, red meat, smoked meats, seafood such as mackerel, sardines, salmon, herrings, trout, perch, shrimp and sprat meanwhile other seafood should be eaten sparingly as well as pork and poultry. Alcohol except red wine (in moderation), High Fructose Corn Syrup containing foods and drinks should be avoide completely, A low fat diet and an increase in vegetables consumption should be considered as well as exercise. Alternative medicine has to be carefully looked... I would recommend someone that has a vast knowledge on herbal medicine combined with acupuncture and or iridology, even the latter one is considered a pseudoscience or a quackery, I have been able to use it successfully to pin point if it is the kidney that is under secreting, if there is an accumulation of toxicity, if the pH is acidic etc and pick the best herbal products to nourish the body and help it in disposing properly of the uric acid. g9hqywt4me
