Acerola is one of my favorite fruits besides tamarind and grosella.
This delicious red Caribbean Cherry has 3 lobes and has a nice tangy, juicy flavor. Acerola is rich in vitamin A and C and B vitamins too... has obviously fiber, proteins and healthy lipids.
Health Benefits and Uses
This rich nutrient fruit has been used for diabetes, dysentery, for heart functions, to lower or enhance other cholesterol lowering herbs, cleanses the liver and kidneys...has been used for inflamations including rheumatism, water retention and to heal wounds.
Parts Used and Dosage
The part used is the fruit and you can make the most delicious juice ... The dosage? to be honest I used to eat so much of it when I was a kid...a few pounds but the dosage given by rain-tree.com is 1 cup 2 or 3 times daily.
