Congestive Heart Failure an outline

We have been taught that Obesity is the key for heart problems even congestive heart failure. In a recent study (Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA), researchers led by Dr Hossein Bahrami (Johns Hopkins, Baltimore, MD))they have found that this fact is not necessarily truth. There are several factors to consider (inflammation markers): 1) Levels of Interlukin 6 (IL-6) 2) Insulin resistance 3) C-Reactive Protein (CRP) 4) Albuminuria The study was obviously conducted with obese people but still within that population there were not a direct relationship when the inflammation markers where thrown in the scene. Meaning obesity + inflammation markers are definitely indicators of CHF as it is the presence of the inflammation markers and no obesity.
